SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — One woman is dead and another is in custody after a stabbing in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood on Saturday night, police said Monday.
Latanette McDaniel, 35, died from the stabbing reported around 11 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Kansas Street.
McDaniel, who the San Francisco medical examiner’s office said had no known city of residence, was taken to a hospital and died there, according to police.
Vernisha Mandigo, a 25-year-old San Francisco woman, has been arrested in connection with the killing.
Police have not released more information about what led to the fatal stabbing.
